Carry out Industry analysis & demand forecasting for budgeting (sales, sales promotion & manpower)
Judicious allocation of quantity available based on profitability and future potential.
Monitor and control the clearance of credit norms/values judiciously based on circumstances and credit policies
Initiate legal processes for recovery of sticky outstanding
Update MIS promptly for classification of sticky / legal customers
Ensure collection of bounced cheques and report the same in MIS remarks immediately
Network Management/ Market Development
Conduct Dealer meetings at various areas in co-ordination with AMMs/ DMMs.
Identify unaddressed grievances from dealers and redress them
Maintain a personal touch with dealers by attending to all major functions/ events for all major dealers in the Sector
Improve market share by developing weak markets and achieving incremental volumes.
Plan/monitor of sales promotional programmes and co-ordination with technical service team for improving brand image and customer acceptance.
Periodic review of the effectiveness of promotional programs; devise innovative sales promotional schemes to ensure implementation of the same.
Negotiate with vendors along with Mktg Admin/ Accounts for sales promotion/POP items procurement.
Customer Services/ Logistics
Assess the adequacy of godowns for rationalizing decisions; renewal of agreements for C&F, godowns, offices
plan rake movements so as facilitate effective rake handling
Do a gap analysis for augmenting/ reducing the fleet size
Ensure optimum allocation based on primary and secondary transportation costs
Co-ordinate and plan with factories for ensuring budgeted volumes including stock transfer movements
Meet and liaison with transporters for better Logistics
Coordinate with bag manufacturers/ factory to resolve bag damage issues
