Job Description:
Manage and resolve CM & SDIT and related issues and support tickets routed by level 2 team and by TI customers.
Help Optimize the CM, SDIT & VCS Environment and in ensuring that our customers fully leverage the Environment.
Translating customer, Strategy requirements into deployed, stable systems.
Perform all the tasks associated with the role of ClearCase & ClearCase Multisite, ClearQuest, VCS administrator & DesignSync Administrator
Management and administration of CM Infrastructure in Asia-Pacific & Support Global Operations Team across TI
Supporting Infrastructure and Sofware Development Tools like Buildforge, Jenkins, Gitorious Klockwork, Gerritt, Blackduck, Git etc
Installing and configuring server hosts, distributing server load, and tuning clients and servers for best performance
Create & Manage Vault Ports, Caches and Mirrors of DesignSync
Backup / restore / repair of VOBs / Vobs / Vaults / Caches and involved in Movement / Migration of them
MultiSite replica creation, synchronization, mastership and restoring replicas across sites Managed by India Support Team.
Monitor Application and system log files
Respond to Production issues and Coordinate issues with all other Site administrators within TI and Subcons
Interface with vendors to resolve bugs / apply patches, etc.
Automation of day-day run-maintain activities using shell/Perl Scripts
Provide daily support and troubleshooting for test and production hardware, software, and operations issues
Follow Change Compliance through TI change Management process and procedures
Work with TI customers, application owners, infrastructure support engineer, etc. in resolving a reported issue
Participate in rotational On-call and support the operations outside core business hours on issues getting escalate
Work with PSA ( Production Stop Analyst ), apprise the situation and help in resolution of the same
Participate in projects, tasks and activities and drive them to successful closure meeting timely milestones
Develop processes to leverage Level 2 support team for support activities
Document procedures and conduct training/knowledge sharing sessions
Ability to come up to speed and support any new tools / applications for CM & SDIT
